The greatest challenge to Catholic education in the United States today, and the greatest contribution that authentically Catholic education can make to American culture, is to restore to that culture the conviction that human beings can grasp the truth of things, and in grasping that truth can know their duties to God, to themselves and their neighbors.
— Pope St. John Paul II, to the Bishops of the Ecclesiastical Regions of Chicago, Indianapolis and Milwaukee (U.S.A.) on their "Ad Limina" visit, May 30 1998

“For my flesh is true food, and my blood is true drink. Whoever eats my flesh and drinks my blood remains in me and I in him. Just as the living Father sent me and I have life because of the Father, so also the one who feeds on me will have life because of me.” John 6: 55-57

  • Confirmation Program

Now when the apostles in Jerusalem heard that Samaria had received the word of God, they sent them Peter and John, who came down and prayed for them that they might receive the Holy Spirit. For He had not yet fallen upon any of them; they had simply been baptized in the name of the Lord Jesus. Then they began laying their hands on them, and they were receiving the Holy Spirit. Acts 8:14-17

The “Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults" (RCIA) constitutes a process characterized by a profound engagement in liturgy, catechesis, and pastoral ministry, through which adults are initiated into the Catholic faith. This process represents a rich and dynamic journey, wherein individuals collaborate with the action of the Holy Spirit in their lives while advancing toward a union with Christ through the sacraments.
